Every great academy starts with visionary founders. At Kryptonite, we're proud to be led by Eugene Baloyi and Zoyi Lindiwe Muendane—two dancers who turned their passion into a movement that's changing lives across South Africa.
Eugene Baloyi
Co-Founder & Choreographer
The driving force behind Kryptonite's choreographic excellence, Eugene brings years of international dance experience to every class. His specialty lies in breaking down complex choreography into learnable steps, making advanced techniques accessible to dancers of all levels.
His journey from street performer to SA Got Talent winner inspires every student who walks through our doors. Eugene believes that every dancer has potential—they just need the right guidance to unlock it.
Beyond choreography, Eugene is passionate about building the next generation of South African dance talent. His philosophy: "Dance is not just movement—it's a language that speaks louder than words."
Zoyi Lindiwe Muendane
Co-Founder & Creative Director
Zoyi is the creative mind behind our unique style blend. Known for her infectious energy and innovative choreography, she has choreographed for numerous brands and events across Southern Africa.
Her teaching philosophy centers on building confidence through dance, ensuring every student leaves not just as a better dancer, but as a more confident individual. "Dance teaches you to trust yourself," she often says. "Once you trust your body, you can do anything."
Zoyi's vision extends beyond the studio. She sees Kryptonite as a platform for African dance to gain global recognition—and she's making that vision a reality one student at a time.
Our Mentors
Alongside our founders, Kryptonite boasts an incredible team of mentors who bring their own expertise to our programs:
Kgothatso Lebeko (Bugz) - Specializes in popping and lite feet, bringing technical precision to our advanced classes.
Homotsang Seloane (Rom7e) - Our AfroBeats specialist who bridges traditional African movement with contemporary styles.
Our Vision
Eugene and Zoyi founded Kryptonite with one mission: to create opportunities for South African youth through dance. Today, that mission drives everything we do—from our Tiny Tots classes to our professional I&CTC program.
Their complementary skills create the perfect foundation for our academy. Eugene's technical mastery combined with Zoyi's creative vision ensures Kryptonite offers comprehensive training that prepares dancers for any path they choose.
